I bought this Canon imageCLass at Costco since my other printer was. A few new cameras are now supported including the Canon Powershot G1 X Mark II, Olympus OM-D E-M10, Panasonic GH4 and Sony Cyber-shot RX100 III. From what I understand however, dpi makes a difference when printing from your own printer, but if I send the 3504x2336 image and tell costco to print an 8x12, they simply ignore the dpi settings in my file and print whatever's appropriate, right? So I dont have to go back and change all my images to a higher dpi? Thanks.Ĭanon 60D | Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 | EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 | EF 50mm f/1.8 II | Tamron 28-75mm f/2. The G-Series Family - PowerShot G1 X Mark III. Those jpegs were exported at maximum settings, but when I examined them later I realized that CS3's save for web gives them a 96 dpi profile. Costco wants jpegs so from there I did "save for web and devices" because "save as" didnt let me do jpeg (I later found out it's because I was working in 16-bit rather than 8-bit). 3800, RUE DE MARLY, SAINTE-FOY,QUEBEC, G1X 4A5. In lightroom I exported RAW to TIFF at 16 bit 240 dpi to work on in CS3. MARK OPALISKY,COZEN OCONNOR,1900 MARKET STREET, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19103.
